Not far from Stonehenge is the city of Salisbury, which we managed to visit on our way back. There, we saw the famous Salisbury Cathedral with its renowned 123-meter spire, if you understand what I mean.

In addition, very close to the cathedral is another site managed by the National Trust - Mompesson House. A cozy and welcoming 18th-century townhouse. Once again, thank you for our membership in this foundation 😄

The entire trip to Stonehenge and back took only one day. We left at 7:00 AM and returned at 6:20 PM. The distance was 470 km, and the total travel time was about 6 hours.
We were very tired from the journey, but it was worth it!
