On the day of King Charles III's coronation, we found ourselves in a wonderful place: Anglesey Abbey. It's a large estate with a beautiful villa and surrounding grounds. It was built on the site of a monastery founded in the 12th century.

It's a fantastic place for walks. You can simply come here and wander around as much as you like. Admission is paid (16 pounds), but you can purchase a National Trust membership for 140 pounds per family and visit as often as you like throughout the year.
