Converts Yamaha instrument backup files (.bup) into MIDI files. Upload a .bup — each song and MIDI track found inside is saved as a separate .mid file. Everything runs in your browser: your file never leaves your device.

How it works

A .bup embeds songs and raw MIDI tracks. The tool parses the backup structure, repairs track lengths, and assembles each song as a multi-track MIDI file — with tempo and track name.

Limitations

  • Yamaha auto-accompaniment and styles use a proprietary format — only recorded notes are extracted.
  • The format varies by instrument model — extraction from some backups may be incomplete.
