Today, I took my first real ride on my new electric Brompton – 40 kilometers through a sunny morning in London. The city was waking up, and I was already gliding through the warm breeze and light traffic, enjoying testing out every feature of the bike.

The main goal of this mini-expedition was the famous parkour spot: IMAX Gap. It's a true legend, an iconic location in the heart of the city, where some of the best traceurs from around the world used to come to jump. I heard that it might be demolished or rebuilt soon, so I wanted to see it with my own eyes. The place is impressive – monumental and with a certain character. Of course, I didn't try any jumps myself: my physique isn't what it used to be, and my knees have made it clear that they're more interested in peace and quiet than in feats of athleticism.
