During our vacation, we also managed to visit another estate - Oxburgh Estate. This is a medieval manor house, surrounded by a moat, with Victorian Gothic interiors. The Bedingfield family has lived here for over 500 years, and they still reside in a private section of the estate.

I'm still amazed by how many places like this there are and how carefully they are maintained. For example, the restoration of the roof of this estate cost £6.5 million (approximately 758 million rubles).
